What to expect from Vitalpoint Chiropractic for your ICBC injury?

With valid ICBC claims, you are pre-approved for treatments in the first 12 weeks of the date of injury. However, if you have reached beyond the pre-approved 12 weeks, our staff will contact the ICBC for approval to start your care. Once we hear back from the ICBC regarding your injury claim, we will contact you to get you started with the treatment. Our staff will continue to keep track of your case so that if the extension of the care is needed, we will get that covered for you.

Can Vitalpoint directly bill ICBC?

In order to directly bill ICBC, we will require the following information before your appointment. If we are missing information, we will require you to pay the FULL treatment amount.

  1. ICBC Claim Number:
  2. Adjustor Information:
  3. Full Name:
  4. Email:
  5. Phone Number:
  6. Accident Date: (MM/DD/YYYY)
  7. Claim End Date: (MM/DD/YYYY)

It’s important to note that our ICBC direct billing service is a courtesy service and does not guarantee that all direct billings will be approved or paid by ICBC. It is the patient’s responsibility to pay for all unpaid treatments by ICBC should direct billing problems occur. Patients will be able to collect these payments directly from their ICBC adjuster.

All patients with ICBC claims are responsible for paying the user fee portion and will NOT be able to recover from ICBC for claims with a date of loss on or after April 1, 2019, which they may submit to their private health insurer for consideration of coverage.

All payments must be made at the point of service. Please note we do not provide direct billing for secondary coverage with ICBC claims. Appropriate receipts can be provided to submit a claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
